Rain, wind, concrete, small backyards. Here's the honest answer to all the questions we get asked before every booking.
No we do not set up in the rain. The inflatable is water resistant, not waterproof, and can only withstand light rain for a short period. If rain is forecast, we will contact you to reschedule.
Yes. We will not set up if winds exceed 20km/h. We monitor conditions before every event and will contact you well in advance if your date is affected.
Yes! We can set up on grass, concrete, pavers or hardstand. We use weighted sandbags and anchor points suitable for any surface.
We use your electricity but supply all leads, extension cords and equipment needed. You just need a standard 240V power outlet accessible from the setup area.
Mini: at least 5.5m × 5.5m of clear flat space. Standard: at least 6.5m × 6.5m. The area must be flat and have vehicle and side access from the house.
Yes 2 Bluetooth speakers are available as an add-on for $150. You connect via Bluetooth and play whatever you want.
Yes our Accessory Package includes LED lights and a smoke machine for $150. It completely transforms the inside of the inflatable.
We need vehicle access to the front of your house, plus side access from the house to the backyard. Please let us know if your property has restricted access when enquiring.
Yes overnight hire (past 9pm) is available for an additional $100. We'll come back in the morning to pack everything down.
We do not set up the inflatable in the rain. Our inflatables are water resistant not waterproof. They can handle a very light, brief shower for a short period of time, but they are not designed to be used in wet conditions. Setting up in the rain risks water getting inside and damaging both the equipment and your guests' experience.
If rain is forecast on your event day, we will contact you in advance to discuss rescheduling. We always monitor the Bureau of Meteorology forecast closely in the lead-up to every booking and will give you as much notice as possible. We'd much rather reschedule than have your event ruined by the weather.
We will not set up the inflatable if winds are forecast to exceed 20km/h. Above this speed, the inflatable becomes unsafe it can move, become unstable, or be damaged. This is a strict rule we apply to every event without exception, because the safety of your guests and our equipment comes first.
We monitor conditions closely in the days before your event. If winds are expected to be too high on your date, we'll contact you as early as possible to discuss rescheduling options. Sydney is generally very manageable weather-wise, but we take no risks when it comes to wind.
Yes we can set up in hot weather. The inside of the inflatable can get warm on very hot days, which is worth considering if you're planning a summer event. We recommend having a speaker add-on so you can keep the music going while guests step in and out, and ensuring there's cold drinks available nearby. Adding a smoke machine creates a great atmosphere and can also make the inside feel cooler by diffusing the air. If you're worried about heat, just let us know and we can discuss the best setup approach for your specific event.
Yes we can set up on concrete, as well as grass, pavers and most other flat outdoor surfaces. We use a combination of ground stakes (for grass) and weighted sandbags (for hard surfaces like concrete) to anchor the inflatable securely. If your area is a mix of surfaces, just let us know and we'll bring the right anchoring gear.
Here are the minimum clear, flat space requirements for each inflatable:
The space needs to be flat a slight slope may be manageable but a significant one is not safe. If you're unsure whether your backyard meets the requirements, send us a photo or your address and we'll let you know before you book.
We need two things:
If your property has restricted access steps, a narrow path, or no side gate let us know when you enquire so we can assess whether it's workable and plan accordingly.
Setup typically takes between 1.5 and 3 hours depending on the size of the inflatable and the add-ons included. Pack down is usually faster around 1 to 1.5 hours. We always coordinate timing with you when we confirm your booking to make sure everything is ready well before your guests arrive. If you've added overnight hire, we'll return the following morning for pack down.
We use your electricity but we supply everything else. This includes all extension leads, power boards and any cables needed to run the inflatable blower, lighting and audio equipment. You just need a standard 240V power outlet that's accessible from the setup area. In most homes, a standard indoor or outdoor power point is all that's needed. We handle the rest.
We don't supply tables, chairs, or catering equipment as standard our focus is on the inflatable, lighting and audio. That said, if you're looking for a full event setup, our Event Services team can help coordinate additional hire items or connect you with trusted suppliers. Just mention it when you enquire and we'll see what we can arrange.
Absolutely our Bluetooth speaker add-on connects wirelessly to your phone, so you have full control over the music all night. No apps, no fiddling around just connect, play and enjoy. You can switch between devices during the night as well, so your guests can take turns as DJ.
Yes for safety reasons we recommend a maximum occupancy of around 25–30 people for the Mini (5×5m) and 35–50 people for the Standard (6×6m). These numbers can vary depending on the setup and what's inside the inflatable. We'll discuss recommended capacity when we confirm your booking based on your specific guest list and layout.
We ask that no sharp objects, open flames (candles, sparklers), or glass bottles are brought into the inflatable these can puncture or damage the PVC material. Drinks in plastic cups are fine. We also ask that guests remove shoes before entering if the event is on grass, to keep the floor clean. Our team will brief you on any specific rules when we set up.
We understand that accidents happen most minor wear is covered under normal use. However, damage caused by misuse (punctures from sharp objects, burns, deliberate damage) may incur repair costs. We'll always be transparent about this if an issue arises, and we carry the appropriate insurance for our equipment. We'll go over our damage policy with you when we confirm your booking.
